Volunteer Work / Community Service

For over 95 years, Sacred Heart Cathedral School has maintained a high standard of academic education in a Christian environment and prides itself on its faculty, administration, students and parents. In its effort to educate minds and hearts for God, Sacred Heart is committed to the teaching of Christian values and quality education along with athletic, cultural and social development. In order to provide continuing excellence in education and its academic programs, it is necessary to receive support, both financial and physical, from the parents and students. In fact, it is each and every family's moral obligation to participate in activities that benefit the school and to help improve the quality of education for our children. This participation will help lower our operating expenses, build a sense of community within our school, and provide a safe and healthy environment in which our children will learn. Participation includes supporting the fundraising events throughout the year and volunteering time to help with the overall activities in the school. Our primary fundraisers of the year are:
